All in Mom Life

A Post with No Ending or Point

Hey friends!

This post is long overdue, and a fair warning, may be a little over the place.  I hate to say that I've been "too busy" to blog, but I truly have been too busy.  I've been pulled in a million different directions between motherhood and business.  In addition, we took a vacation last month, and then my dad ended up in the hospital.  I tried to keep everyone updated on Instagram, and appreciate all of the love and prayers we received.

Running a Business + Being a Mom

Hi!

I have been totally swamped in motherhood over the past 10 days.  Bodie, who is not an easy toddler in general, got a cold early last week, that turned into a secondary infection last weekend.  He ended up on antibiotics.  My husband and I got the same bug, and went on antibiotics as well.  It's the first time I've had to take them in years!

Being sick, and being a mom quite frankly sucks.

Being sick, and being a mom to a sick kid sucks even more.

Being sick, being a mom to a sick kid, and a wife to a sick husband is the worst!

Yoga ON the Mat

Before I had Bodie I practiced yoga almost daily. Some practices were hard and vigorous, while others were slow and restorative. Some practices long, and others short... but regardless, I made the time to get on my mat even when working long hours. I even practiced throughout my pregnancy all the way up until the day the little guy was born (btw that story is coming soon!). But let me tell you, my practice has really gone to crap since that day!

Friday Feels

Happy Friday, friends!

I hope everyone had a good week.  Let's jump right into it...

What I'm feeling: This week's full moon.  What a sight she was rising over the Gulf of Mexico.  I went out for sunset on Wednesday, and as spectacular as the color show was, the rising full moon just blew me away.  Some of you may have followed along on my Instagram Live...

Let's Get Real

Let's talk about real life. I'm told all the time that I'm super positive. I think that is true, most days. But let's be real... we all have shitty moments and days. I'm having one right now as I write this in a parked car (the proof is in the photos if you don't believe me).

Home Practice with a Baby

I have a baby who refuses to nap alone. He's also a fan of the quick and dirty cat nap. With that said, I can only practice during his waking hours. Just like life has completely changed (goodbye going to the bathroom alone), my practice changed dramatically as well. My little man turns 9 months next week, and I've learned how to have a solid home practice with him by my side (or on me). With flexibility you can have a killer and satisfying practice, and even bond with your little one!
