High ticket items + why you need one

Hey friends,

Happy Friday, although I know it doesn’t feel like any particular day of the week when it’s #quarantinelife. I hope you’re doing well wherever it is you are. Bodie and I just got back in from our morning outdoor time, and now I am sitting down to share something really important with you all while I sip some hot cacao made with oat milk and tons of vanilla (so freaking good).

Today’s topic, which is high vs low ticket items, is something I didn’t know much about when I first started out even though i’s entrepreneurship 101, and quite possibly one of the biggest tricks to enable you to work smarter, not harder. Game changer.

A low ticket item is a low cost product that would require you to sell a lot of them in order to earn a living. We see these all the time especially on social media. Think essential oil businesses (and similar MLMs), affiliate coupon codes, ebooks… And listen, I don’t hate on low ticket items… in fact, my smaller prints that I sell in my print shop are low ticket! For example I’d have to sell 66 11x14 prints in order to make a $5000 month in profits… actually, that’s not even factoring in the cost for me to create those prints… production, shipping, and so forth! My point being, I’d have to sell a shit ton of them if I wanted to earn a livable income. It’s not impossible, it’s just harder and requires a ton of time. To me, that’s just not sustainable and doesn’t compliment the freedom-based lifestyle I want to live.

…OR I could sell a few high ticket items, to earn $5000 in a month… in fact, high ticket items make five figure months much more accessible. In a nutshell, you’re working less and making more. Who doesn’t want that?

My high ticket item is Kangen water machines. I didn’t have to invent it or anything crazy like that. It’s in high demand and something that people absolutely freak out love, and aligns with my wellness, environmental, and lifestyle values. If I make a few sales a month I am good to go. It’s literally the key to how I’m able to go to the beach every single day if I want to (pre-quarantine of course), and how I am able to be home with Bodie during these fast and short precious years of his life. It’s the key to earning an income while traveling, or continuing on with your 9-5 should you want to and just having a money maker on the side.

Everyone needs a high ticket item in their life so they can work and stress less, and live life on their terms. Consider adding one into your life and watch your life transform.
