Hey guys!  

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed a whole bunch of photos with a cute 1969 yellow VW Bug creeping in.  World, meet Ellie, out newest baby.

I first met Ellie last year at a photoshoot for some of my favorite clients, who are now great friends of ours!  They knew that I felt instant love for her, and when they decided they needed to find her a new home, asked if I was interested in taking her in.  Um, yes please.

So it's official, Ellie has joined our little squad.  She loves going for rides by the water, cruising to watch the sunset, and exploring our little beach town.

Ellie needs a bit of love, and we plan on repainting her soon.  She will remain a beautiful pale yellow!  I am planning on redoing the interior as well.  I'm already coming up with SO many ideas. How would you decorate her if you were me?

Oh, and for the name, so many of you had amazing suggestions... but I ultimately went with Ellie because when I was a little girl, my mom would tell stories and pretend to be "Ellie the elephant..." a sweet little mischievous elephant who marched to the beat of her own drum.  It felt fitting!
