water wellness series: part 3

welcome to part three of the water wellness series!

in part one we dove deep into the most common types of drinking water, and set the record straight on tap water, bottled water, reverse osmosis, and gravity fed filtration systems. you can find that here. in part two we discussed water ionizers, how electrolyzed reduced water is created, and how molecular hydrogen acts as an antioxidant (meaning your drinking water is not just clean, it’s therapeutic). you can find that post here. I highly encourage you to read both of those posts first since each post in the series builds upon the last. if you’re a real risk taker though, go ahead and start here. ;)

low vibe marketing

a quick google search for water ionizers is going to pop up a lot of different brands. I cannot emphasize this enough— not all water ionizers produce the same therapeutic water, and not all water ionizers are built to last.

The research on H2 (molecular hydrogen) took off in 2007, and as expected, several products have hit the market since then. up until then, it was mainly only kangen machines on the market.

the intention behind kangen machines were to recreate the structure of water that the healthiest people on earth were drinking. for several decades the cause of the health benefits were unknown. it was assumed that it was because the water was alkaline (hence the bottled alkaline water explosion), but it was actually the molecular hydrogen! Once the research caught up, it caused multiple companies to spring up to replicate kangen machines.

making a high quality water ionizer is not easy or cheap. The engineering of a machine that produces therapeutic levels of hydrogen requires the highest quality electrode plates, adequate watts, and the design also has to accommodate ease of cleaning so the machine works longer than a month. you really cannot cut corners here.

as mentioned above, kangen machines have been around the longest, and are considered the gold standard of water ionizers. many of the newer companies tend to model their products off of kangen machines, and their marketing strategy is based on tearing down enagic.

you won’t find that marketing strategy amongst kangen distributors. we believe in what we sell, and prefer to focus on the quality behind kangen machines instead of what everyone else is doing.

the test of time

Enagic, the company that makes kangen machines, is about 50 years old. for the first decade and a half, they only supplied water ionizers to hospitals. people would line up at the hospital to bring this healing water home with them to treat their illnesses and diseases. so when enagic says kangen machines are built to last a lifetime, they’re not joking. there are happy kangen customers with machines that are over 20+ years old. if your company is 5 years old, how can they say that their machines will last 20 years?

medical grade water

Kangen machines are the only certified medical grade water ionizer in the world that produced medical grade water. they are certified in japan which has the strictest standards. other water ionizers may use medical grade metals in their machines, but do not have the same certification.

did you know you can fly with kangen water? just tell TSA it is medical grade, and you’re good to go!

metal + cleaning

enagic does not cut costs on the metal plates within the electrolysis chamber (thank goodness!!). the plates are titanium and dipped in platinum. these metals are extremely high quality and phenomenal conductors of electricity.

low quality metals not only don’t do as good of a job conducting electricity, but can actually leach heavy metals into your drinking water which is extremely toxic and dangerous.

the plates in a kangen machine (the left plate in the image) are easy to clean. a natural byproduct of the electrolysis process is mineral buildup. it is recommended that every 2-3 weeks you run an automatic e-cleaning cycle which pulls citric acid into the chamber to eat away the buildup. plates that have mesh or honey comb shapes are much harder to clean.

in addition, enagic offers an incredible additional service that no other company offers… you can have an in-person technician deep clean your machine yearly at a low cost.

power matters

kangen machines have the power needed to restructure the water and produce therapeutic levels of molecular hydrogen. a power supply that is less expensive or that tries to save power simply will not have the same effects. as a consequence, you’re not drinking water that will make an actual difference in your quality of life or health.

and there you have it…

kangen machines are a one time investment that produces a lifetime worth of health benefits for you and your loved ones. stay tuned for part four of the series where we will dive into the research!

questions? ask in the comments and i’ll get back to you.

see you in Part 4.
