couples + family portraits
Portrait sessions for families, couples, and individuals take place throughout Santa Rosa Beach and the Emerald Coast, often outdoors and in locations chosen for their natural beauty and sense of place.
Sessions are relaxed and unhurried. I'll offer guidance when needed, but never expect you to perform for the camera. My goal is to create photographs that feel natural, timeless, and reflective of the people, relationships, and season of life they represent.
Slow summers, old family albums, wild places, and the people we love.

This work is well suited for those who value connection over perfection and are drawn to photographs that feel honest, relaxed, and true to life. If you find yourself returning to old family albums, photographs of everyday moments, and images that feel more like memories than performances, we'll likely be a good fit.

Sessions are relaxed, collaborative, and intentionally unhurried. I'll offer guidance when needed, but I don't believe every moment needs to be posed. Some parts of a session may be gently directed, while others I'll simply observe and document as they unfold. My goal is to create space for genuine interaction, natural movement, and photographs that feel like you.

I'm based in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and most sessions take place outdoors in natural settings throughout the Emerald Coast. I regularly photograph within local state parks, preserved natural areas, private residences, and quieter public beach access locations chosen for their beauty, simplicity, and sense of place.
Sessions typically begin about an hour before sunset when the light is at its best. Limited travel outside the area is available and quoted separately.

I offer portrait sessions in both digital and 35mm film.
Digital photography offers flexibility and a larger collection of images, while film embraces a slower pace and a more deliberate approach to image-making. Both are beautiful mediums, and both are approached with the same care and attention.
For those interested in adding motion to their session, Super 8 films are available as an optional add-on. These short films capture movement, atmosphere, and the small moments in between, creating a nostalgic keepsake that complements your photographs.
Super 8 add-ons begin at $500.

I believe photographs are meant to live beyond the screen—to be held, revisited, and shared. While printed work is never required, I do offer thoughtfully crafted prints and albums for those who wish to carry the images forward in a tangible way.
