ABOUT

Hi, I’m Dr. Lindsay,

Psychologist, nervous system nerd, and nature-obsessed human who believes true well-being isn’t just about healing—it’s about living in rhythm with your biology, your values, and your joy.

I’ve been in the world of psychology for over 20 years!
But nothing prepared me for how disconnected and dysregulated I’d feel when I was doing “everything right” and still felt off.

Working long days under artificial light.
Living mostly indoors.
Tired, overstimulated, running on stress—but still performing.

I knew how to think my way through anything.
But my body was over it.

What changed everything?
Light. Nature. Nervous system work. Real rest.
Not all at once, but slowly. Intentionally. With a different kind of honesty.

That’s what brought me here—
to this work that blends psychology, rhythm, biology, and alignment.

Because I don’t believe the goal is just to cope.
I believe you’re meant to feel good. Clear. Rooted. Connected to what matters.
And I’m here to help you get back to that.

What I Believe—As a Psychologist Who's Lived It

  • I believe nervous system dysregulation is often misdiagnosed—or completely overlooked.

  • I believe that stress, burnout, and anxiety aren't just mental—they’re biological, and often environmental.

  • I believe evidence-based psychology is essential—but incomplete if we ignore how humans are wired to live.

  • I believe light, rhythm, nourishment, and rest are fundamental to well-being, not fringe ideas.

  • I believe real change happens when you work with the nervous system—not against it.

  • I believe you can be highly functional on the outside and deeply disconnected inside.

  • I believe healing is possible.

  • And I believe it doesn’t need to take forever, feel like a full-time job, or require abandoning your life.

Outside of My Work

  • I live on the Gulf Coast with my husband, son, and dog.

  • Most days, you can find me outside—walking barefoot, chasing sunlight, or watching the water.

  • I water ski as often as I can.

  • I believe in rest days, slow mornings, raw milk, and raising kids in rhythm with nature.

  • I’m not big on gimmicks, trends, or quick fixes.

  • I’m here for the long game—rooted clarity, quiet power, and living in alignment with what really matters.

  • This work is personal. Because I’ve lived the stress, the misalignment, and the disconnection.
And I’ve also lived the recalibration. I created this work for people like me—people like you.
