Radiate Good Vibes

I’ve always relied heavily on the vibes that I receive to make choices. I know that this isn’t for everyone, but hear me out for a moment. You’re reading this anyway, so may as well stick around. ;)

Simply put:

Everything is energy.

Energy has a frequency.

We are also energy, and raising our vibrations is the best thing we can do for ourselves.

Let’s Rock the Rest of 2019

Hey guys!!

Hey guys!!

You know what’s a bit wild? The fact that we are just about halfway through 2019 already. Is that as shocking for you as it is for me? It’s easy to look back at the goals we created for the year, and if they haven’t happened yet, feel really bad about it. To be totally honest, my year has not panned out the way I thought it would, and I’ve recently made a lot of changes. But you know the irony of all this? The actual ideas and the desires that I wanted are unfolding. It’s just the route I’m traveling is not what I anticipated. I feel really good about it, and love how life is full of these little surprises. I fully trust the process.

Okay, so here are my suggestions for how to help you rock the rest of 2019.

Photoshopping Flamingos

It’s coming up on two years since two beautiful wild flamingos flew into town, and I was lucky enough to see them on the beach! The event was really cool, and you can read the original story here.

For the quick version, we had Tropical Storm Cindy come through, which landed right near Alabama. When the storm cleared, two flamingos were spotted on Orange Beach. I saw it in the news, and contemplated driving over that way… but what are the chances I’d even see them?

Instagram; A Microcosm of Real Life

Hey friends,

I’ve kind of realized that I talk about social media and our relationships with it a lot. I don’t know, it kind of fascinates me to be honest. I was thinking about how it all started for me… Once upon a time, a friend was telling me about facebook, and if you went to certain schools you could use it. Soon I jumped on the bandwagon, and began oversharing like everyone else (this is what I had for lunch, this is my dog sleeping, this is how I’m feeling today, this is me going to yoga. haha!). Then Instagram came onto the scene.

Seeking Simplicity

Hey friends,

It’s been a few weeks, and I honestly couldn’t wait to sit down today to blog. I love this space, and when I don’t make time for it I can FEEL it. We’ve had a lot going on here. Ed has been busy with work, little side projects, and things around the apartment. I’ve been finishing up several family galleries that I shot over spring break, and working on other content as well, such as the print shop updates, travel plans, and a potential free product for you guys (I’m trying hard!).

How to Start an Online Print Shop

Hey there!

Today we are going to talk about how to sell your photography prints online. I hope that this is helpful for you guys!

It is so cool that we are able to sell what we are passionate about to the entire world from our couches. We can create digital shops and art galleries so easily, with a minimal amount of overhead, investment, and inventory. One of my favorite aspects of my business is the print shop, and it’s where my photography business first began.

Signs it's Burnout

There was a time in my life where I could not figure out what was wrong with me. I was constantly exhausted, felt hopeless, anxious, and didn’t want to get out of bed in the morning. It sounds quite dramatic, but I felt doomed, and couldn’t understand how I could possibly feel this way after working so hard to achieve this life.

I worked a lot….
