High ticket items + why you need one
Hey friends,
Happy Friday, although I know it doesn’t feel like any particular day of the week when it’s #quarantinelife. I hope you’re doing well wherever it is you are. Bodie and I just got back in from our morning outdoor time, and now I am sitting down to share something really important with you all while I sip some hot cacao made with oat milk and tons of vanilla (so freaking good).
Today’s topic, which is high vs low ticket items, is something I didn’t know much about when I first started out even though i’s entrepreneurship 101, and quite possibly one of the biggest tricks to enable you to work smarter, not harder. Game changer.
Take the Leading Role in Your Health: Be Empowered
Hey friends,
How are you?
So much has been on my mind these days when it comes to health and freedom… I mean, how can it not be right now with life flipped upside down? While I steer clear of the majority of mainstream news, I can’t help but notice this trend in thinking that we are helpless until a vaccine comes to rescue us in a year, or two years, however long it takes really. In addition, as we move forward with plans to reopen the country, why isn’t health and optimizing the immune system front and center?
Life is NOT on hold; Quarantine Edition
Hey friends,
How is everyone holding up? What a weird time. I have been wanting to get over here and put up a blog post, but nothing felt like the right thing to share… because, well, this is just weird and lots of things seem irrelevant. So I decided to instead open up and just share feelings, thoughts, and insights I’ve gained over the last 3 years, I mean weeks. LOL!
It has not been all sunshine and rainbows over here.
Quitting Coffee and Choosing Freedom
I’ve been into healthy eating and living for over a decade, and while it is a huge part of my life, I’ve always believed in being flexible and keeping a bit of an open mind. Anything that feels too rigid to me is not sustainable. I like to eat from my intuition rather than from strict guidelines even though 99% of the time, I choose the healthy option. My diet these days is plant-centered, the majority of it being raw, because that’s where my intuition is guiding me.
However, there was one area my life that I tossed intuition to the sidelines
My Daily Green
I have been drinking green juice for about ten years. I actually wrote a blog post on it way back in 2014 when I knew nothing about blogging or even the deeper benefits of drinking green juice that I am going to share below. (You can find that old post here). After becoming a mama, I became less consistent with my daily juice because #momlife.

2020 Intentions and Aspirations
Hey friends,
We had a super mellow New Year’s Eve here. We ended up staying in, and falling asleep around 10pm. I woke up around midnight, gave my husband a kiss, and went to bed. This was so good. We woke up on New Year’s Day feeling fresh and amazing… took a long beach walk, had really healthy and yummy food, practiced yoga, and relaxed.
I spent the last several weeks thinking about what I wanted to bring into existence in 2020. It’s just a silly day on a calendar, yes, nothing magical happens, and most resolutions fail; however, I have felt massive energy and creativity moving into this new year. I think a lot of people have, and so, I’m running with it, and thinking you probably should, too?
Bringing an intention from thought into physical form requires a lot of energy work, getting into alignment, mindset, and attention.
Reflecting on 2019
Hey you,
I’m sitting on my rattan daybed, surrounded by plants, Bodie playing with his toys, and our black lab, Izzy, begging me for the last bit of lunch, a mix of avocados and chickpeas tossed with herbs, kalamata olives, and olive oil (10/10 recommend). I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on how much I’ve evolved since this time last year, as the closing of a calendar year feels like a perfect time to do so. 2019 has been a year of growth for me, mentally and spiritually, and I want to share a bit about that before I dive into the next post— my 2020 intentions. I feel like a new person, perceptions have transformed, and my purpose has become clear.
Here we go…
